Recent Developments

April 2011
Kent's official book launch and signing party for his new book "Asking about Asking: Mastering the Art of Conversational Fundraising" will take place at the Bartlesville Community Center on April 5th, 2011. Prior to the launch, Kent will conduct a fundraising workshop, based on his book, for Executive Directors, Development Staff, Board members and other nonprofit volunteers. This session will teach participants to become more comfortable, confident and effective in all types of asking situations. Sign up for the workshop here.

Back by popular demand, Building Funder Relationships is the topic of Kent's training session at the March 31st, 2011 workshop presented in Tulsa by the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Kent is scheduled to conduct a book signing event for his new book, "Asking about Asking: Mastering the Art of Conversational Fundraising" at AFP's 48th International Conference on Fundraising in Chicago March 20-22, 2011. March 2011
Kent gave the keynote address and presented a workshop based on his new book "Asking about Asking: Mastering the Art of Conversational Fundraising" on March 11, 2011 in Reno, NV.  This training day was presented by The AFP Sierra Chapter in partnership with the Alliance of Nevada Nonprofits, the Nevada Grant Professionals Association and the Planned Giving Round Table of Northern Nevada. Kent presented the morning training session "7 Reasons Campaigns Fail" at the AFP Arkansas Chapter's fall conference.  He was also the keynote speaker for the lunch session, presenting his book topic "Asking about Asking" and conducting a lively, interactive discussion.
